On what spring proves about the hard things
Spring reminds me of the life to come
It shows me the reflection
Between the earth and my heart
On March
I feel it from my soul
And I feel it from the trees too
Perhaps every season the trees are giving us clues
On the ocean that is my heart
My heart is an ocean
But my life is a city
And every day they crash into each other
On learning from the rain
Maybe the reason we don’t like the rain
Is because it reminds us of being sad
On the greatest symphony
The noise outdoors
It has changed
It has moved from being background noise
Into the foreground
On letting go
Let go
Let the old leave
Let what’s not needed fall
On the hard things
When the rocks and tough terrain
Look like piles of sand and dirt
With lines that someone drew with their finger
On the ocean
The ocean inspires us
But we once feared it
What else are we looking through fear to see
