On the link between me and the green

The green sparks my soul

Brings me back to life

I feel the energy course through me differently 

Life in the trees brings forth life in me

The rotation around the sun 

Impacts me

It’s more than just a season 

I’m beginning to see 

We are more linked than we know 

Sun to moon to earth to ground to me 

Soul to spirit to heart to mind to body 

If the sight of green energizes me 

If the moon cycles the month 

If another’s courage moves me to bravery

If my mind sparks healing in my body 

That is one rare, complex web of connected coincidences

But I don’t believe in that sort of thing
