It’s hard to prove the lack of something

It’s hard to see what’s not there

The lack of something to see

Can cause us to doubt

Can lead us to question

Can promote many assumptions

But if we watch carefully

If we wait and see

We can get a glimpse of what’s really there

Of what’s hidden beneath

And it is often powerful

It can alter our perspective

It can change our mind
