On generosity
We don’t need much to be generous
Turns out generosity isn’t defined by a number
But of sacrifice
You don’t need to have all you need
To build a longer table
You don’t even need a table
You just need someone with whom you can share
The best examples of generosity I know are
A woman with one coin
A family with some oranges
A noisy chicken in a van
Turns out how much you give doesn’t define your generosity
It’s perhaps what you don’t have
What you sacrifice
What you share joyfully and intentionally with another
That enables you to be generous
I want to be generous like that
